The Parallel and Distributed Computing Group

Research Fellow in Scientific Computation

This two-year EPSRC-funded research post is to develop
problem solving environments for Computational Science and
Engineering applications using WEB based technologies such
as CORBA and Java. Experience in High Performance Computing
is desirable, but not essential, though applicants should
have a PhD in relevant field. The group is led by Professor
Tony Hey and is based in a 5* rated department. The group
was established in 1984 and is internationally recognised
and a leader in its field. This project is in collaboration
with Profesor David Walker of Cardiff University. Informal

Salary in range GBP15,462-GBP19,758 on Research Grade 1A,
depending on age and experience.
