POSITION AVAILABLE

University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minnesota.  THE DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRICAL 
AND COMPUTER ENGINEERING has a faculty opening in 

COMPUTER ENGINEERING.


The Department invites applications and nominations for a tenure track or 
tenured position in computer engineering.  Specialties of particular interest 
include computer architecture, VLSI design and networks.  

Successful candidates are expected to establish a vigorous funded research 
program and teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels. 

The requirements for this position include an earned Doctorate in an appropriate
discipline at the time of the appointment and outstanding academic and research 
records.  Rank and salary will be commensurate with the qualifications and 
experience of the selected candidate.  Applications and nominations should be
