Local Information
For directions to the University of Maryland campus, please see http://www.umd.edu/visitors/directions.html
The University of Maryland is served by three airports: Reagan National Airport (20 miles), Dulles International Airport (35 miles), and the
Baltimore Washington International Airport (30 miles). BWI is probably the most convenient airport to use. There are airport shuttles available at all
airports, along with taxis and car rental facilities. The airport shuttles offer a low cost yet convenient way to travel to/from the airport. One
popular service is the Super Shuttle. Upon arrival at the BWI airport, go to the lower level and follow signs for the ground transportation desk
located between luggage carousels 3 and 4. If arriving at the Reagan National or Dulles airports, follow signs for ground transportation leading
you to the Super Shuttle boarding area located on lower level at curb. To return to the airport, please make a reservation at least 24 hours in
advance by calling 1-800-BLUE-VAN. For Super Shuttle information, call 410-859-0800. If you need additional local information, please
contact Cecilia Kullman, cecilia@umiacs.umd.edu.
