PADS 2000 provides a forum for presenting and discussing recent work
that enhances the understanding of parallel and distributed simulation
techniques (including optimistic, conservative, real time and interactive
synchronization, synthetic environments, virtual reality, DIS and HLA,
and web-based simulation) and their use in real-world situations.
Sunday 28 May, 3-6 p.m. - prior to the conference, we are fortunate to
have a wide-ranging TUTORIAL from one of the leading figures in the field:
Richard Fujimoto (College of Computing, Georgia Institute of Technology)
Parallel and Distributed Simulation Systems:
From Chandy/Misra to the High Level Architecture and Beyond
Abstract: http://siwg.dera.gov.uk/~pads2000/tutorial.html
This tutorial is FREE to everyone registered for the PADS 2000 conference.
Information on conference registration and hotel reservation are available
at: http://www.CS.UniBO.it/pads2000
