The course instructor for this class is Dr. Roger Smith, an award-winning simulation developer who is intimately involved in the design and development of military simulations.  Mr. Smith has contributed to JSIMS, WARSIM, NASM, J-SIGSIM, TACSIM, AWSIM, IEWTPT, and F-16 flight simulators.  This course provides a thorough understanding of current simulation techniques and technology as they are being applied in military applications. This course goes far beyond typical program overviews. The course will significantly raise the level of awareness and understanding that is essential in the military simulation field. Developers and Managers will be prepared to use the newest technologies available and will gain an appreciation for the history of the field. This class is a great opportunity to expose new engineers to the field of Modeling and Simulation.
