INTRODUCTION TO PARALLEL COMPUTING WORKSHOP
November 5-7, 2002
Interdisciplinary Center for Scientific Computing (IWR)
Heidelberg, Germany
Graduiertenkolleg "Complex Processes: Modelling, Simulation and
Optimization"
The aim of this workshop is to give the participants an introduction
into
parallel computing and some specialization to parallel programming
with
MPI, OpenMP and PETSc. The workshop will comprise lectures and
practical
exercises (available in Fortran and C).
The language used in the workshop is English.
Lecturers: Prof. Dr. Thomas Ludwig (Institute of Computer
