The installation was inspired by Andy Warhol's statement that "In the future everybody will be famous for 15 minutes" as well as by the pop-art style of his works. The critical part of the installation is detection of faces which enables the cropping of faces from the wide-angle images of people standing in front of the installation. The method for color-based face detection which must be reliable in different illumination conditions and scenes will be described as well as the Internet dissemination of the resulting portraits. ======================================================================== Kurzbiographie zu Professor Dr. Franc SOLINA ======================================================================== Franc Solina is a professor of computer science at University of Ljubljana and Head of Computer Vision Laboratory at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science. Victoria island. Lagos. I am Mr.Dike Martins,a Senior Management Staff of Almond Bank of Nigeria ltd,Lagos Island Branch. I have urgent and very confidential business proposition for you. On June 6, 1997, an American Oil Consultant/Contractor with the National Oil Nigeria LTD, Mr.Robert Akazawa made a numbered time(Fixed) Deposit for twelve calendar months, valued at US$15,611,000.00 (Fifteen Million six hundred and eleven thousand US Dollars only)in my branch. Upon maturity, I sent a routine notification to his forwarding address but got no reply. After a month, we sent a reminder and finally we discovered from his contract employers, the National Oil Nigeria LTD that Mr. Robert died from an automobile crash. On further investigation, I found out that he died without making "WILL",and all attempts to tracehis next of kin was fruitless. I therefore made further investigation and discovered that Mr.Robert did not declare any kin or relations in all his officialdocuments, including his Bank Deposit paperwork in my Bank. This sum of US$15,611,000.00 only is still sitting in my Bank and theinterest is being rolled over with the principal sum at the end of each year. No one will ever come forward to claim it. According to Nigerian Law, at the expiration of 5 (five) years, the money will revert to the ownership of the Nigerian Government if nobody applies to claim the fund. Consequently, my proposal is that I will like you to act as the next of kin to Mr.Robert Akazawa so that the fruits of this old man's labour will not get into the hands of some corrupt government officials. This is simple, I will like you to provide immediately your full names and address so that the Attorney whom we will engage his services will down here, will prepare the necessary documents and affidavits which will put you in place as the next of kin. This Attorney will prepare the drafting and notarization of the "WILL" and equally obtain the necessary documents and letter of probate/administration in your favour for the transfer. A Bank Account in any part of the world which you will provide will then facilitate the transfer of this money to you as the beneficiary/next of kin. The money will be paid into your Accountfor us to share in the ratio of 60% for me and 30% for you, while 10% is for expences in the course of the transaction. There is no risk at all as all the paperwork for this transaction will be done by the Attorney and my position as the Branch Manager guarantees the successful execution of this transaction. If you are interested, forward your contact telephone numbers to faciliate easier and faster communication and for us to discuss orally. Upon your response, I shall then provide you with more details and my private contact telephone number. Please observe utmost confidentiality, and be rest assured that this transaction would be most profitable for both of us because I shall require your assistance to invest my share in your country. Awaiting your urgent reply mail.dikemartins@eudoramail.com Regards, Mr.Dike Martins. This is an excellent opportunity to participate in two conferences covering a wide range of simulation research. SYMPOSIUM OBJECTIVES DS-RT 2003 serves as a forum for simulationists from academia, industry and research labs, for presenting recent research results in Distributed Simulation and Real Time Applications. DS-RT 2003 targets the growing overlap between large distributed simulations and real time applications. The conference features prominent invited speakers as well as papers by top researchers in the field. DS-RT 2003 will include contributed technical papers, invited papers, and panel discussions. The proceedings will be published by IEEE-CS press. CALL FOR PAPERS DS-RT is intended to provide an international forum for the discussion and presentation of original ideas, recent results and achievements by researchers, students, and systems developers on issues and challenges related to distributed simulation and real time applications. Authors are encouraged to submit both theoretical and practical results of significance. Demonstration of new tools/applications is very desirable. The scope of the symposium includes, but is not limited to: o- Interactive Virtual Reality, Multi-User Virtual Reality, Interactive Simulation in Entertainment; o- Algorithms and Studies relating to existing protocols (e.g., HLA, DIS); o- Implementation issues; (e.g., general purpose distributed simulation); o- Algorithms and Methods for Distributed Interactive Simulation (e.g.,event synchronization, network time protocols); o- Applications of Distributed Simulation (e.g., Real Time DS, large distributed simulation systems); o- Distributed Models and Simulation for Analysis; o- Data Distribution Management and Interest Management; o- Multi-resolution modeling; o- Current Critical Design Issues (e.g.: causality, simultaneous events, zero look-ahead, compensation for slower than real time); o- Methodology for Distributed/Parallel Simulation; o- Approaches to interoperation of COTS simulation modelling packages; o- Interface Definition, Communication, Management, Security; o- Performance of Distributed Simulation; (e.g., benchmark, theoretical, empirical, and HLA/RTI studies); o- Dead-Reckoning Mechanisms; o- Visual Interactive Simulation (e.g., generic animation, visual interactive modeling, interactive computer based learning); o- Animating Language Tools, Visualization Tools for Computational Process under Simulation; o- Language and Modeling Issues; o- Modeling and Simulation Environments for Real Time Concurrent Systems; o- Influence of Network-Centric Systems (such as Java, and DCOM) on DIS; o- Interoperable Communication Networks; o- Network support for distributed simulation and real-time systems (QoS requirements and their realization, multicast for distributed/ real-time simulation systems); o- Applications of Web-Based Simulation (e.g. Modeling Global Internet); o- Integration of DIS and HLA with Web Technologies. Following the sudden death of my husband General Sani
Abacha the late former head of state of Nigeria in
August 1998, I have been thrown into a state of utter
confusion, frustration and hopelessness by the present
civilian administration, I have been subjected to
physical and psychological torture by the security
agents in the country. As a widow that is so
traumatized,I have lost confidence with anybody within
the country.

You must have heard over the media reports and the
internet on the recovery of various huge sums of money
deposited by my husband in different security firms
abroad, some companies willingly give up their secrets
and disclosed our money confidently lodged there or
many out right blackmail. In fact the total sum

I got your contacts through my personal research, and
out of desperation decided to reach you.I will give

the sum of 45.5 million dollars with a security firm
abroad whose name is with held for now until we open

From today’s point of view business processes have established themselves as objects of the organisational design. The importance of business process modelling with direct connectivity to the software configuration grows steadily as component architecture and web services progressively transform software architectures. Moreover, business comprehensive processes require the specification of responsibilities dealing with reciprocal material and financial relationships, quality standards and time constraints. To achieve this, the relevant business processes have to be known, i.e. by documentation. Thus, know-how in the fields of developing and using the relevant methods of business process management will further affect the future’s business and research. ======================================================================== Kurzbiographie zu Professor Dr. August-Wilhelm SCHEER ======================================================================== Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult.
