Nowdays intelligent hybrid computing approaches are becoming very important
issue in many varient applications. Most of the individual approaches are not
so effective in many applications. One of the very important areas where
hybrid intelligent approaches are expected to achieve high level results is
engineering. In this session, we try to focus on the applications of varient
hybrid approaches on engineering problems. This includes combination of fuzzy
logic, neural networks, evolutionary computation and probabilistic reasoning.
This combination is known as soft computing. In engineering applications we
might need soft computing as well as a combination of soft computing and
conventional (hard) computing in many cases.
This special session is a good opportunity for the researchers who work in
applying intelligent techniques on various engineering applications to
exchange their experiences and to present their work.

Topics of interest for this session but not limited to:

*Foundation and principle theory of applying intelligent techniques on
engineering applications.
* Application of Intelligent approaches on control systems.
* Comparative studies on engineering applications with varied intelligent
techniques.
* Intelligent approaches and robotics.
* Intelligent approaches and mobile technology.
* Intelligent approaches on industry.
* Intelligent approaches on space.
* Soft computing on engineering applications.
* Intelligent engineering expert systems.
* Hybrid intelligent systems applied on any engineering problem.
* Hybrid intelligent systems applied on optimization.

paper in pdf format. The paper should be in two files , the first includes the
paper title, name of the author(s), affiliation, and the paper abstract. The
second file should include the whole paper without the author(s) name(s).
Authors are encourged to submit their papers according to the publisher
instructions : http://www.worldscientific.com/style/proceedings_style.shtml.
Please select the trim size 9" x 6". Papers that are not prepared according
to these guidlines will not be published.
All the papers will be peer-reviewed by at least two refrees. Accepted papers
will be published in the conference proceedings as the book " Applied
Artificial Intelligence" by World Scientific (to be EI indexed).
