In the exciting and rapidly moving world of parallel and distributed 
computing, advances in these multi-faceted fields need to be evaluated early 
and disseminated quickly. ISPDC attempts to provide an interactive, 
professional, and friendly forum for these purposes.

This is the 6th ISPDC. Previous symposiums were held at

  2002: Iasi, Romania
  2003: Ljubljana, Slovenia
  2004: Cork, Ireland
  2005: Lille , France
  2006: Timisoara, Romania

Prospective authors are invited to submit original papers (not being 
considered for publication elsewhere) describing theoretical and/or 
experimental research in areas of interest which include:

SUBMISSION INFORMATION

ISPDC 2007 accepts submissions only in electronic format sent by via a webform 
at the following URL:

   http://www.risc.uni-linz.ac.at/conferences/ispdc2007

The submission consists of a single file in either PDF (recommended) or 
PostScript format (not MS Word format) with

  * the list of authors (full name, affiliation, and email address),
  * a 100-word abstract and keywords,
  * no more than 8 pages of content

before the deadline: January 29, 2007.

Papers are to be formatted in the IEEE style as generated by the templates 
which can be obtained at the conference web site.

It is expected that the proceedings will be published by the IEEE Computer

CONFERENCE VENUE:

The conference is located in the Castle of Hagenberg, a medieval castle amidst 
the lovely landscape of the Mühlviertel and site of the RISC institute.

The village of Hagenberg im Mühlkreis hosts various institutes of the Johannes 
Kepler University Linz, the Softwarepark Hagenberg (a high-tech industrial 
park focused on software development), the Upper Austria University of Applied 
Sciences (offering various degree programs related to information technology 
and new media), and the Software Competence Center Hagenberg (a joint 
industrial and academic research center).

Hagenberg is located 20 km north east of Linz, the provincial capital of Upper 
Austria, and site of the Johannes Kepler University. Linz is a 200.000 
inhabitants town on both sides of the river Danube which offers the visitor a 
mixture of typical Austrian historic sites, well-known industry, and 
established cultural aspects.
