CONFERENCE VENUE:
The conference is located in the Castle of Hagenberg, a medieval castle amidst
the lovely landscape of the Mühlviertel and site of the RISC institute.
The village of Hagenberg im Mühlkreis hosts various institutes of the Johannes
Kepler University Linz, the Softwarepark Hagenberg (a high-tech industrial
park focused on software development), the Upper Austria University of Applied
Sciences (offering various degree programs related to information technology
and new media), and the Software Competence Center Hagenberg (a joint
industrial and academic research center).
Hagenberg is located 20 km north east of Linz, the provincial capital of Upper
Austria, and site of the Johannes Kepler University. Linz is a 200.000
inhabitants town on both sides of the river Danube which offers the visitor a
mixture of typical Austrian historic sites, well-known industry, and
established cultural aspects.
