It's good to see this.  There are some known problems with the 1.2
version that aren't in the 1.20 version.  I thought I was handling this
properly, but maybe I missed something.  I'll look at it again this
weekend.

Unfortunately, any crash in the kernel will leave the module in use
until a reboot.  This is probably related to the vfree problem.  The
vfree problem is fixed in the 0.4.1 driver (Yes, it's hiding.  Look in
the software archive for the patch.)
