[cpia] which webcam under linux

Hello everybody !

I'm new here in the list - and I have a question !

I have a linux box (redhat 6.2 with kernel 2.2.14). I downloaded the
kernel 2.2.16, also the USB patch available at
http://www.suse.cz/development/usb-backport/

now I want purchase a webcam ! Is the terratec webcam the right one ?
or which webcam can i use with my patched kernel ?
It's impossible to get a none usb cam at this time ! 
all cam's have usb :-(

Can anyone help ? Or can anyone give me some hints ?
