Message-ID: <3FA42984.3010407@yeago.net> Could someone assist me in getting this thing running again? I wanted to show my little sister some mold up close, but we just can't find the disk. I have seen a cpia project at Source Forge, but I didn't see a windows executable. Perhaps someone here has the CD and would send me the setup files? Intel does not make these available, and they no longer offer to replace it. Perhaps someone has another suggestion? The first: A codec neccessary to play movies within the QX3 application The second: A patch. (enough said) The third: A patch (enough said) Fourth: A troubleshooting application Fifth: A system info compiler for tech support. The software is only available for windows 2000/XP I am running 98SE. f.duncan.m.haldane@att.net wrote: >>I have checked this site; the drivers are not offered on this or any >>other site I have found. >> >> >> > >Look again, I just looked and found them there > >click on the link "software and drivers" to get started, >then select your operating system etc etc. > >The link below works > http://support.intel.com/support/intelplay/qx3/index.htm > > > >>f.duncan.m.haldane@att.net wrote: >> >> >> >>>The CPiA drivers is for Linux support. >>>For Windows support, >>>Check out Intel's driver downloads at: >>> >>> http://support.intel.com/support/intelplay/qx3/index.htm >>> >>> >>> >>> >>>>Could someone assist me in getting this thing running again? I am using the cpia drivers in the 2.4.20 kernel - is there a point in using the ones from your site? I am a little unsure of how much difference there is between your drivers and whats made its way into the kernel sources. maybe there is a better front end than xawtv to use? I am hoping to take snapshots and movies eventually :-) (this may save my son from bleating to go into winders to play with the scope!) Thanks. -- Nick Rout
