Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the launch of a new journal:
Journal of Web Engineering
-- a quarterly publication both in print and on-line,
starting from Sept 2002 published by Rinton Press
hppt://www.rintonpress.com

Aims and Scope:
Web Engineering uses scientific, engineering and management
principles and systematic approaches to successfully develop,
deploy and maintain high quality Web-based systems and
applications. The Journal of Web Engineering (JWE) provides a
forum for distribution of information in all areas of Web Engineering.
Original articles, survey articles, reviews, tutorials, perspectives,
and correspondence are all welcome. Appropriate content will address
significant issues and problems, and potential solutions, in developing
Web-based applications.

Martin Gaedke, University of Karlsruhe, Germany
Daniel Schwabe, Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
