The submission deadline for ISPASS (September 30) is just around the
corner. A one week extension will be granted automatically, so please
plan to submit your papers by Monday, October 7.
If you are planning to submit a workshop or tutorial proposal,
please contact Prof. Lizy John at ljohn@ece.utexas.edu by October 31, 2002.

Sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society's TCI, TCCA and TCMARCH
The IEEE International Symposium on Performance Analysis of Systems
and Software provides a forum for sharing advanced and
well-established academic and industrial R&D work focused on
performance analysis in the design of systems and software. Authors
are invited to submit previously unpublished work for possible
presentation at this conference. Papers are solicited in fields
including the following:
* Benchmarking
* Workload characterization
* Simulation
* Analytical models
* Statistical approaches
* Metrics
* Power and thermal modeling
* Validation
* Characterization of emerging applications, systems and microarchitectures
* Case studies
Papers of no more than 20 double-spaced pages, including figures, are
solicited. The cover page of each submitted paper should include paper
title, brief abstract, list of keywords, full names of authors,
affiliations, complete addresses, telephone numbers, and email
addresses. Authors are requested to submit papers in Postscript or PDF
