Computational Cybernetics is the synergetic integration of
Cybernetics and Computational Intelligence techniques. Hence the
topics of the ICCC covers not only mechanical, but biological
(living), social and economical systems and for this uses
computational intelligence based results of communication theory,
signal processing, information technology, control theory, the
theory of adaptive systems, the theory of complex systems (game
theory, operational research), and computer science.
SUBMISSION OF PAPERS
The working language of the conference is English. Submitted
papers have to be original, containing new and original results.
The material must be unpublished and not under submission
elsewhere. Prospective authors are invited to submit a full paper
(max. 5000 words) electronically in PDF format at the conference
homepage: http://www.vmars.tuwien.ac.at/iccc04
Each accepted paper has to be presented by one of the authors at
the conference and must be accompanied with a registration fee.
PROPOSALS TO ORGANIZE SPECIAL SESSIONS
Each technical session will have at least 5 paper presentations.
The session chairs will be responsible for all aspects of their
sessions; including soliciting, reviewing, and selecting the
papers. To ensure quality of the papers, the technical committee
of ICCC'04 will be reviewing all the papers/review reports.
Proposals for special sessions should be mailed to the conference
chair and should include the title of the technical session, the
name, affiliation, and e-mail address of the proposer(s), and a
short description of the topic of the session (not exceeding 100
words).
RELATED EVENTS
ICCC'04 is being held together with the conference on Intelligent
Systems Design and Applications (ISDA 2004).ISDA 2004 takes place
in Budapest, Hungary on August 26-28, 2004. Please find more
information on ISDA'04 at http://www.isda04.softcomputing.net
Authors who register to both conferences are provided free
transportation between Budapest and Vienna on August 29.
