[cpia] gqcam hangs with D status

Hi,

I am running gqcam application on cpia-0.7.4 on 2.3.99-pre5.
using WebCamII Creative Labs camera. My computer is PII 233MHz.
It runs well but after some time it hangs. Then create process
with D status (uninterruptable sleep) and I cannot kill it but
only rebooting my machine.

Is it expected behavior? How to kill the process without reboting?
