[cpia] cpia creative webcam II

Hi!
i use cpia driver on a USB terratec webcam and it`s working, now i got another
computer and i would like to use my old creative webcam II webcam on it (i did
use it on cpia driver 0.6-08 i think)
Now the thing compiles and when i load it up i get this in the log files.(this
one without IRQ and DMA)

When i try to use the device /dev/video0 i get 
Failed to open video device /dev/video0 : Input/output error 
 
What could be wrong ? ( is my cable cut or something?)
