[cpia] Problems when cpia isnt compiled as a module,

Hello,

Upgraded my kernel today to 2.4.18, decided to compile cpia and cpia usb
directly instead of using the cpia modules.

Compiled fine, but when i rebooted, it hangs when the usb.c finds the
cpia camera. Tried it on a tyan tiger mpx chipset, and a intel bx
chipset, and i get the same problems.

It works fine as a module though.
