Creative Webcam III

Hi,

I've been looking at buying a webcam and linux support would be very
useful. I'm currently looking at the Creative Webcam II because
a) it's cheaper than the webcam II
b) it has better specs
c) the webcam II is becoming harder to buy as it's replced by the
webcam III

Does anyone know if the webcam III uses the same VLSI CPiA chipset as
the webcam II or some derivative (and will therefore be supported by
your project?)
