Actually I am interested in the warping or better un~
Its some form of Cushion correction ?
Specificaly I am planning to set up a webcam that scans a view
and to create the wide scan row (roll) I figured I was only going to be able
to use a small stripe in the middle of the images to paste together an image
So I am curious what you discovered about the optical effects of mapping
this infinitly round world to a flat little chip of silicon ?

Have you considered making your findings open source and put it all into an
instantly published directory for now ?

thanks and cheers

Tobias
